    eikonAT Serial Cable Replacement (SPP profile)

eikonAT firmware (by default on the product) allows the transparent serial cable replacement using a wireless Bluetooth link.
First setup the product parameters afterward you can connect it to your system and enjoy the wireless connection.

How it works
SETUP
During the first 2 seconds after power on you can enter into setup mode by AT command or using our PC software (Free, please download it).
You can set and save the following parameters:
Name - Will be shown to other devices during enquiry
Pincode - Security password for pairing
Role - Master or Slave
Discoverable - Y/N (if you want that your Slave product will be not shown to other devices)
Connect to address - MAC address of the Slave if you set the product as Master (pincode must be the same)
SerialePort - Baudrate (300..421600 baud)
SerialePort - Parity (N/E/O)
SerialePort - Stop bit(1..2)

RUN
Once saved the parameters you can connect the module to your embedded system serial port (or UART) and it works as normal serial cable.
No firmware/driver modifications are needed on your system!

Role (Master or Slave?)
SLAVE
If your system has to be discovered and connected from a remote device such as PC or Smartphone, you have to set the product as Slave (visible)
The product will be shown after enquiry on the remote device and the pincode will be asked in order to estabilish a wireless Cable.
The product will be connected to a virtual COM port of your PC/Smartphone and everytime you open that COM Bluetooth connection will be automatically estabilished.

MASTER
If your system has to connect a remote device with known MAC address (and only it) please set the product as Master and insert the MAC address of the remote device on Connect to address field.
In this way you can setup a real wireless cable replacement (using 2 products: 1 Master and 1 Slave). The 2 products will estabilish and keep automatically the connection.
